It's Friday and a quiet day at home for the most part.  Going to do some "catch-up" on long-neglected projects and start preparations for a new year.  My husband remarked this morning that an "odd" year is coming up.  Meaning, I think that 13 is not an even number.  I'm  not sure what the significance of that is...  I've always been partial to "odd" numbers.  They seem softer to me somehow--whatever that means.

Rich and his friend Tom are working (again) on our new hot water heater.  There was a small leak after installation and they are tending to that.  Seems like it wouldn't be Christmas without some major project going on at the house.  When Rich was remodeling our house the kitchen sink was set in on Christmas Eve Day.  I threatened to move out if I had to dishes in the bathtub at Christmas!  :)

At any rate, life goes on.
